Position:Software Design Engineer

Responsibility:
Independently design and develop software either for 3G mobile communication or a packet transport platform
Document writing and review
Unit, component test and system test, make test plan
Interface with other teams/units for any technical issues

Required skills:
BS in computer science or electronic engineering, MS preferred
At least 2 years of working experience in telecommunication field
At least 2 years of experience in object oriented programming and system design, outstanding programming skills in C++. Experience in JAVA or script programming is a plus
Good understanding of basic telecommunication knowledge, knowledge of transportation layer (e.g. ATM, SS7) or wireless communication concepts & protocols is a plus
Experience in embedded OS programming
Working experience of UNIX, familiar with UNIX commands
Strong software skills and demonstrated software debugging skills
Good team player and able to work in an extremely fast pace and high pressure environment
Fluent in oral written english
Open and good at communication, actively provide good suggestions for technical and non-technical issuse
Working experience of RoseRT is preferred
