Job Description 

Business Unit Description :  EDS’ Global Solution Centre in China is one of o
ur fastest growing divisions. Providing an exciting opportunity to be part of

ons to EDS’ global clients and work on EDS next-generation global delivery sy
stem.

Main Responsibilities
    Assist application developers 
    Creation & movement of objects through environments
    Analysis of environment, recommendations for improvement
    Interface with U.S. and India app development teams
    Interface with U.S. and India Prod Support teams
    Meetings may be required during morning hours in Eastern U.S.
    Deployments may be required during evening hours in Eastern U.S.

Requirements
DBA –   General knowledge and experience within the OnStar data environment. 
 Experience with the following :
    Computer Science or related degree
    Oracle DBA Certification.
    Must have strong SQL / Relational Database experience. Ability to develop 
and understand complex SQL statements. In addition, ability to performance tun
e SQL in an Oracle environment. 3 years recommended. 
    Must have Oracle 9.i experience.
    Must have TOAD SQL editor experience.
    Recommend UNIX development experience.
    Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.  Flexible approach to work
ing across multiple teams, and willingness to rotate between teams and activit
ies. Must have a positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach to both day to d
ay support and challenging new tasks. Must have a strong Customer focus.
    Excellent English skills in writing & reading, strong English in oral comm
unication, CET6
    Production support experience is a plus
