Job title: Senior Project Manager

Department Description
The MOTOREADY team provides and supports an infrastructure and process for Motorola, its customers and third party developers that, in a systematic manner, verifies that any third party software acquired—embedded, preload and after market—complies with Motorola requirements for marketing and distribution via any Motorola channel.    

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
* Manage development of the Program (>600 applications annually)
* Ensure ISV is appropriately set up to develop application
* Manage receipt and document (as appropriate) deliverables in the MOTOREADY checklist
* Present at MOTOREADY checkpoints
* Manage communication with regional representatives
* Manage receipt and prioritization preload requests
* Contribute to MGATES checkpoint deck
* Manage deliverables from Project Manager
* Ensure delivery of final app and that correct app is in final software build    

Specific Knowledge/Skills
* Minimum 7 years project/program management, with at least 5 years experience leading programs across geographies.
* Knowledge of, and successful experience using, project management best practices.
* Strong project/program management skills. Must be highly organized and skilled at managing many projects simultaneously against aggressive schedules.
* Experience managing programs across a cross-functional global team
* Experience managing software programs desired
* Professional manner. Must be comfortable working directly with individuals at all levels of organization and skilled at gaining consensus and alignment.
* Out-of-the box thinker with proven ability to solve problems.
* Capacity to function and succeed within a highly productive, entrepreneurial, and experienced senior team.
* Must enjoy and thrive in a start-up type of environment.
