Position Title: JAVA Software Engineer
Business Unit: AOL Mobile
Office Location: Beijing

Principal Responsibilities:
 - Design, implement, test, stabilize key platform features on time with high quality as well as maintain one or more of our products; write and/or review in depth technical design specification
 - Participating in the design, prototype, and implementation of applications for both WAP and web portal
 - Working with product teams from US and other countries to build TRD/SDD based on PRD;
 - Work with project manager and to identify the best way to translate these business requirements and needs into workable functional specifications and code
 - Developing new as well as maintaining existing applications
 - Working with both local and remote QA teams and operations teams to carry out cross-functional integrated testing
 - Make decisions about design and feature implementation, using your mastery of technical tools to make a product vision a reality
 - Assist manager to develop team capabilities and competencies

Qualifications:
 - Bachelor or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Masters or graduate degree is desirable.
 - Minimum 3+ years of working experience and 2+ years of Java/Servlet/JSP experience.
 - Solid skills and experience in OO and Java/J2EE analysis/design and development.
 - Solid skills and experience in Application Servers, JBoss, Tomcat, etc.
 - Solid skills and experience in web technologies, such as HTML/XHTML, Javascript, CSS.
 - Solid skills and experience in popular tools/components, such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Ajax, XML.
 - Strong knowledge with Tomcat, Sybase/Oracle/Mysql
 - Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies.
 - Web services, SOA, Portal/Portlet or Web 2.0 experience is a big plus.
 - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 - Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
 - Motivated to share experience and help / guide others
 - Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitive, goal oriented, motivator
 - Solid English skills on speaking, reading and writing
