VxWorks Networking Test Engineer at Wind River Systems!!!

***This role is located in Beijing***

The Networking Test Engineer is responsible for the design, development and execution of the functional or system level networking test of one of the core products at Wind River:  VxWorks.  The candidate will be responsible for developing and running tests to validate the new and existing functionality, performance and stability of VxWorks.

Responsibilities:
·    Work with Engineering and Marketing to define use cases and test to these definitions
·    Ensure quality Wind River products based on effective test efforts
·    Expand the scope of testing to best cover customer requirements
·    Developing test cases for Wind River Network stack
·    Reviewing test results from several sources
·    Developing automated tests to improve the testing process

Job Requirements:
·    3-5 years test experience in embedded system development and test practices
·    Familiarity with development processes, including writing software, development and test tools, Integrated Development Environments
·    Development experience in C, C++ & Java
·    Knowledge of VxWorks & Unix or Linux
·    Understanding of basic OS internals such as scheduling, IO, memory management and various bus architectures
·    Proficient in TCP/IP, L2 – L7 protocol
·    Experience with test automation & testing development tools
·    Able to work independently, and as a part of a distributed team
·    Excellent written and oral communication skills
·    BS CS/EE Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related majors.

Desired:
·    Experience working with offshore test teams
·    Knowledge of Wind River customer applications
·    Knowledge of 3rd party tools
·    Knowledge of networking protocols such as OSPF, NAT, PPP IPSec, firewall, etc.
·    Familiarity with large scale, complex development processes
·    Experience with scripting languages, such as TCL, Expect, Python and Perl.
·    Knowledge of industry standard performance metrics for OS and networking techniques
