招聘职位 
Laboratory IT Support Analyst 
Working location: Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park, Shanghai 
Responsibilities: 
•	Provide a support service, including advice, fault diagnosis, remediat
ion, enhancements and preventative maintenance for the laboratory environment 
and best effort support for non standard business critical applications and ha
rdware within the Discovery & Preclinical business areas. 
•	Ensure that laboratory PCs are upgraded to provide required user funct
ionality and to ensure continued support (e.g. Security upgrades, build releas
es, technology refreshes). 
•	Ensure that PCs are supported in line with consistent process and prac
tices across all Discovery & Preclinical sites and divisions. 
•	Provide targeted communication to the business and line management. 
•	Ensure that professional standards, regulations and personal developme
nt plans are maintained to deliver the agreed program of work. 
•	Contribute to the creation and maintenance of governance mechanisms to
 ensure that laboratory support and enhancement work is aligned with business 
priorities. 
•	Ensure that relevant quality management procedures are applied. 
•	Understand key business functions to allow informed discussion on IS r
elated activities. 
•	Identify, prioritise and plan work to ensure that agreed deadlines and
 levels of service are met. 
•	Ensure that plans for work undertaken address all technical issues ade
quately to provide for successful completion and business benefit. 
•	Maintain knowledge of relevant technological advances in IT and other 
pertinent sections of the industry to facilitate the provision of an appropria
te IT service. 
•	Contribute to the continued improvement of support procedures and the 
general conduct and policies of IT. 
•	Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels o
f management and staff in the business and IT. 
•	Ensure that all technical deliverables meet agreed standards and scien
tific regulations. 
Requirements: 
1. Fluent in English both verbal and written required. 
2. Degree in Science, Computer Science or equivalent experience. 
3. 2 or more years experience in Pharma or IT Industry. 
4. 3 or more years experience supporting IT Hardware, Operating Systems (e.g. 
MS Windows / Apple Macintosh / Linux & UNIX; Workstation and or Server Platfor
ms) and client software. 
5. Proven ability to develop and maintain macros written in VBA or equivalent 
3GL/4GL programming / scripting / query languages. 
6. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to bespoke and
 commercial software packages. 
7. Experience of work within an I.T architecture driven environment. 
8. BA/BS in science, computer science or electronic engineering major. 
9. 3 years working experience in the relevant field is required. 
10. Working knowledge or adequate awareness of one or more GxP regulations (Go
od Laboratory, Clinical, Manufacturing Practices). 
11. Ability to work independently. 
12. Good written and presentation skills. 
13. Good customer service spirit.
